We=ll Have Nunavut for Fall!
Elders Gamble and Marsh have been formally assigned to begin full-time missionary work in Iqaluit, Nunavut. They are already known by most of the citizens there, and they have already experienced their first snow of the season, the northern lights, the taste of whale blubber, and other interesting, if treeless, adventures.
Mission Miracles and Memories
B. decided to fast on Monday to be sure he was making the right decision [to be baptized]. He happened to go see his old pastor I the P...l Church - who sat him down for 2 hours feeding him anti-Mormon material. Finally during an anti-Mormon video B. said the Spirit just hit him that he was making the right decision - that the true church of God wouldn=t spend so much effort bashing other churches like this. He couldn=t deny his feelings. He thanked his pastor and came for his baptismal interview. Sister Ballew
A. came to church yesterday with his daughter. They both loved church. He gave answers during Gospel Principles class. [During the next discussion] he stopped us and said, AI want you to know that these things are very important to me. I feel really good about all of this. I feel the Spirit here at church. I am willing and ready to follow those four steps [first principles and ordinances] and continue on.@ So we invited him to baptism and he... accepted enthusiastically. These are the miracles we pray for everyday as a mission. Elder Allred

Un jour j=ai demandé au Père Céleste de m=envoyer une personne ou un missionnaire pour me faire baptiser. C=étais très important pour moi. Les mois ont passé, et en jour à mon travail j=ai rencontré un missionnaire qui m=a conduit à L=Église de Jésus Christ des Saints des Derniers Jours, et par la suite j=ai reçu le don du Saint Esprit. Tout ce que les missionnaires m=ont parlé correspondait à mes valeurs et aussi à mes croyances. Cela a fait que l=électricité a passé tout de suite. Merci mille fois. Quartier de Limoilou
Je crois au message des missionnaires, car depuis le debut de la création notre Père du ciel a donné à ses enfants de la terre des hommes comme Isaie pour annoncer la venue de son fils Jésus sur la terre et pour guider son people sur le chemin que mène au salut et la vie éternelle. Alors, je ne vois pas pourquoi aujurd=hui en 2004 ce serais different. Maria S.
